Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my website. I hope you find inspiration, encouragement and get renewed in your faith as you read.
I have been writing since I was a little kid. I would always get excited when my mom or grandma would give me a pen and notebook to write my stories in. As I got older, I would often wake up my parents taping out stories on my typewriter about my Boston Terrier, Noodles.
I was intrigued by many different topics when my grandpa would lay certain newspaper articles on my placemat to read. These experiences helped influence my decision on what I wanted to study in college.
After high school, I earned my Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from Pensacola State College in 2011. I then transferred to The University of West Florida where I became a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree, majoring in journalism and minoring in education.
After college, I spent many years trying to chase down my “dream job” as a reporter.
To gain more experience, I volunteered my time and literary talents to a variety of writing outlets.
After several years of facing discrimination due to my disabilities, I decided to forgo my dream of becoming a reporter and instead become a freelance writer, author and content creator.
My husband and I live in Glen Burnie, Maryland. When I am not writing or making video content I enjoy reading, walking and spending time with my family and friends.
