My internship with She’s Social: Week 18: Facebook

Hi Blog world,

This week was a busy week; I got to continue what I love the most working on social media.

This week, my supervisor and I created a new  Facebook page where we can post events that are coming up to different groups that we follow.

I learned how to forward messages, such as  flyers or videos, to different groups at the same time so that way I don’t have to send out the event flyer  or video to every single group at a time. This new skills is a real-time saver. I am really enjoying working with our social media websites; and this skill is helping me learn what I can do to reach a broader audience for my blog.

One of my personal goals for this year is to gain 100 followers. I know its going to take time, however I know this goal can be reached.

I also worked on creating an Excel sheet for different contact information; this is because my other Excel file did not save properly. Now that it is saved in a more readable format, it’s easier to find the information that we need; that’s what I like about using Google Drive is it’s easy to edit and save documents.

Blog soon,

Amanda Gene
